Blyth Lodge is a bungalow in the quiet hamlet of Chediston where you are guaranteed a peaceful
comfortable nights sleep. We have a dog friendly room. Good for exploring , walking, cycling the suffolk coast and countryside.
We ,Chris and Clive, moved to Chediston from North Kent in 2018. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. We decided to move as the last of our children had just left home and all gone on thier own adventures so we thought it time we took the plunge and had our own adventure.
We left our jobs, Chris worked in the breast screening service and Clive a self employed carpenter / handyman.
We found Blyth Lodge and could see its potential . It was a B&B about 10 + years ago and called Saskiaville at the time. We spent 5 months renovating our guests part of the bungalow. The rooms all have new beds , furniture, bedding and towels. We are very new to the B&B business and have only been open since September, hopefully we are doing something right as we have just received an award from booking.com '2018 Guest Review Awards' with a score of 9.9 .( 2019 score 9.8). We received 2 Super host awards from Airbnb.
The property has the benefit of having a guests own entrance, shared kitchenette with use of fridge, microwave and toaster. There are also plates, cups, glasses etc for guests use.
The Wi-Fi is free to use.
Just before Christmas we finished decorating a living room which guests are welcome to use if they want to get out of their room and sit somewhere comfortable and quiet to read or work.
Breakfast is included and is served in our lovely conservatory. We can arrange to put a few breakfasts choice in the kitchenette if guests would rather do thier own thing.
There is plenty of parking.
It is very quiet here and we are sure you will get a peaceful nights sleep.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in our king size en-suite at a charge of £10 per dog per stay.
We are about 10 miles from the coast, beccles and bungay.
