We are on the no. 1 cycle route and it is prime cycling and walking countryside. In March 24 there is a new 'Wold Cycle Trail which takes in Halesworth and Chediston. We can safely look after your bikes if you want to bring them. We have a selection of walks from Blyth Lodge where you can take in one of the local pubs for lunch.

There is a very big Arts and Culture feel to Halesworth and throughout the year there are exhibitions ,
music, festivals, events ,not just here but also the other local parts of Suffolk, all close by.
In a March 24 Sunday Times article it said that 'Halesworth is rapidly gaining cultural and culinary currency ' and voted Halesworth the best for ' ...being cultured and connected in the countryside'
We are 20 minutes to the coast
. Southwold, Walberswick, Thorpeness and
Aldeburgh are just a few of the quaint coastal places. You can walk the beaches for miles and miles here in Suffolk where you can also fish from the beach. . You must have the correct fishing licences.
Minsmere Nature Reserve for birdwatching and walking is 20 mins away .
For kids we have our local
Camel Oasis and
Southwolds Maize Maize it is very good value .
Africa Live , Great Yarmouth, Gorleston are a bit further but all less than 40 mins.
Suffolk is very dog friendly. The local pub is about a mile walk up a quiet lane. Other pubs are in Halesworth and most pubs are dog friendly
